President
Since July 2017, David has been President of Hammond Paper Company Limited where his focus is on business development and ensuring the Company is living its values every day. Mr. Campbell has a degree in Honours Business Administration from Ivey School of Business at Western University and was granted the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1996 and lives in Toronto, Canada. For many years, he served as a director of KINSA the Kids Internet Safety Alliance, a charity focused on working to protect children from online exploitation and recently joined the board of the Community Support for Students Program (CSSP) is a not-for-profit charity providing financial assistance to hard-working high school students that live in difficult financial circumstances.
David is married and has 2 children. When he’s not working, he enjoys hiking with his dogs, skiing, tennis, biking, traveling, and the occasional friendly Texas-hold-em game.
Director of Operations
Ms. Scott is an experienced administrative operations manager who oversees all aspects of the company today. Carol has been with the company for 25 years, since 1998.
Carol’s first full time position out of school was at Kohl & Frisch for four years, where she started off as an Office Assistant before moving up to become Accounting Assistant. In February 1998, Carol was hired as the new Office Manager for Hammond Paper. Being a small company at the time, Carol learnt and managed all aspects of the office including quoting, order entry, purchasing, accounting, payroll and inventory control. As Director of Operations today, Carol continues to oversee and actively manage all the day to day operations.
Carol attended Seneca College in King City for Business Management, and is married and has one child. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with family, walking her dog, travelling, a good visit to the gym, and a nice glass of wine with friends on a patio or in front of the lake.
Plant Manager
Mr. Ecet is an experienced machine operator and operations manager in the print and bindery industry and has been Plant Manager at Hammond Paper Company since June 2016.
George is a veteran of the print and bindery industries, having had many operations roles over 35 years. George has held numerous foreman positions at different companies: Annan and Sons, Swiss Print and Graphics, Peel Graphics, Graphic Dimensions and Ampersand Print.
George attended Graphic Technical School from 1977-1981 earning a diploma of craftsmanship, from 1981 -1982 did mandatory military service in Serbia, and from 1982-1984 attended the College of Sport and Recreation before starting his career in the print industry. George is married with 4 children. When he’s not working, he enjoys golfing and playing soccer.
Director of Sales
Mr Alexander is a high energy, sales professional whose been immersed in the pulp and paper industry for 40 years. From the outset, he's viewed the opportunity to work with the clients he serves as a privilege and genuinely appreciates the chance to act as their consultant with an eye to assisting them in adapting and staying ahead of the curve. He takes the inherent responsibility of helping them grow their business profitably very seriously but firmly believes it's vitally important to have fun doing it.
During his career Steve's handled many high-profile National Accounts enabling him to develop a sound technical foundation. In addition, he's gained invaluable experience in the retail sector.
Mr Alexander has an Honours C.A.A.T. Advertising Diploma from Loyalist College and studied business management through the Canadian Institute of Management (York University and University of Toronto campuses) for 3 years. Steve is married with 3 children. He enjoys reading, and loves carpentry and always has a home renovation project on the go.
Director of Finance
Mr. Sila is an accounting and finance manager with over 20 years of experience in setting up and directing accounting and finance departments, system reviews and financial reporting & analysis for public and private corporations and small businesses.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Ryerson University, and is a designated Chartered Professional Accountant, CPA, CA.
For many years, he has served as controller/director of accounting & finance for medium sized and public companies.
Victor is married and has 2 children. He enjoys reading and is actively involved in many local community groups in his Toronto neighbourhood.
Accounts Coordinator
Fil is the friendly, ever smiling person you see when you first come to the Hammond office. She has over 25 years of experience in office administration and has worked in various large corporations over the years. When Fil started with Hammond in 2015 she was a Customer Service Rep. and responsible for front desk and order entries and other related duties. Today Fil continues to be the Customer Service Rep and responsible for a myriad of tasks in the office, including reception, invoicing, order entry and processing, reporting, accounts receivable and accounts payable, A/R and A/P, processing all orders, A/P, A/R as well.
Fil enjoys spending time with her family which is too big to count and also enjoys travelling, reading and cooking in her spare time.
Marketing & Logistics Co-ordinator
Cherry came to Hammond in 2018, having spent almost 20 years in luxury retail management, Cherry wanted to shift her focus and joined our team as Marketing and Logistics Coordinator but has since become our “Jack of all trades” and Customer Service Manager.
Cherry’s previous experience in management has meant she can turn her hand to pretty much everything from quoting, order entry, purchasing, payroll and inventory control (basically Carol’s right hand woman) to human resources, marketing, website management, and logistics. Cherry has been with us almost 5 years and has learnt a lot about the paperboard industry and she looks forward to growing and learning more with Hammond Paper.
Cherry is married with 4 children and when she isn’t at the office she enjoys travelling, scuba diving, crafting, and spending time on her boat in Muskoka.
Sales Representative
Adam joined Hammond Paper in 2019. With over 8 years of customer service and sales experience in multiple fields, Adam has been able to gain valuable experience while interacting with customers on a personal level. Adam prides himself in being a people person and understanding the needs of those he interacts with.
Adam is one of the outside sales representatives at Hammond Paper. He enjoys being able to meet new individuals daily and strives to provide excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Adam attended Georgian College for Bachelor of Business – Golf Management. When he’s not working, Adam enjoys reading, hanging out with family, golfing, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors.
